What I’m Eating in 2024
I’m turning a decade older so have been focusing a whole lot more on my health and what I put into my body.
Ever since I got injured and couldn’t bounce back in shape and return to the same body of my thirties, in 2023 I began tracking what I ate and how it made me feel and discovered a few things about my body when I was really listening to it. One, I consistently feel junk after eating a lot of fried foods and highly processed or packaged foods.
So this year, I am going fresh, quality, and simple foods that give me energy and when I want a treat, I’m treating myself to the things that are worth it in moderation.
That’s it. I’m doing a piece of my dark chocolate and oatmeal, eggs, blueberries, and my Ag1 in the morning. Then an apple and nuts for a snack. A lunch of protein, veggies, and carbs followed by my dark chocolate afternoon snack. Then another healthy snack of some kind. Then a dinner of veggies, protein, and a little less carbs followed by my dark chocolate for dessert.
At least once a week I will have my beloved muffin or a pastry that’s worth it and eat out and enjoy.
You see, I’m going to keep eating my dark chocolate for two reasons. One, I absolutely love that it hits all my standards of being freshly made, high quality, and I know all the simple ingredients inside. Two, if I choose certain ones like our solid bar, dark chocolate macadamia nuts, or the 72%, they are actually great options with less sugar and can enjoy the benefit of chocolates such as improving blood flow good for your skin and brain, reduces anxiety, gives you powerful antioxidants, etc. Read more HERE.
That’s what I’m eating in 2024!
