Sweet Land (Goat) Farm

Looking for something fun to do outdoors in beautiful Wailua?

Sweet Land Farm has been on my list for soooooo long and when I finally had time off with the kiddos during their open hours, I took them and their friends out for a drive to Sweet Land Farm!

This farm hit everything I could hope for and more for both the mamas and the littles!

  • Free convenient parking

  • Clean facilities, bathroom, and hand-washing station

  • The widest range of goats to visit who seemed happy to see us :p

  • Affordable feed for the experience with the goats

  • Delicious drinks, desserts, and goodies to shop in their gift shop

  • Viewing window to where the cheese is made & stored

  • Wide open outdoor and shaded seating to relax and have our snacks

  • Local sustainable agriculture!

I met the owner, Emma, briefly and talked to her family and her passion for the animals, the land, and the future of Hawai`i is clear. They pour heart and soul into this and from the looks of it, do it very well. The pictures speak for themselves, but this is what we ate (made with the goat of course) that we really enjoyed:

  • Panna Cotta

  • Ice Cream

  • Cheese & cracker tasting set (sorry no photos…the kids attacked it before I could get some nice shots!)

I highly recommend checking them out! Even if you don’t have kids, this is a great place to go with friends, on a date, or to take visitors to! And there are great products to purchase to help support this local business!

erin’s tips

Watch your bags & clothes that the goats don’t nibble on them! Take friends, have fun, and drive out. Even if you don’t normally like goat cheese, give it a try! You may be pleasantly surprised.
