NEW Children’s Book
I wrote my first children’s book entitled, “One Piece of Chocolate” that will be available with the celebration of our company’s 11th birthday in September!
Our company, Choco le`a, is on a mission of “Bringing peace to our world, one chocolate at a time.” Much like the main character, Bon Bon, I knew God gave me a mission, and wanted to find ways to bring peace to others. Through the ups and downs of taking risks in faith, owning a small business in Hawai`i and other life’s challenges, I discovered that I had a story to share to encourage the next generation.
Through this story, I hope children (and adults) are encouraged and realized that each of us has something we can give to bring joy to others!
About the Book
A chocolate truffle named Bon Bon, discovers a world outside of her box full of negativity. Determined to bring a little sweetness and joy to the world, she gives away one piece of herself at a time, bringing peace to the world instead.

Our Goal: 900 Copies
1,000 copies were printed locally in Hawai`i.
900 needs to be purchased to break even.
(Here’s the simplified math: Each book sells for $12 and costs $9 for materials, printing, etc. $12 - $9 = $3 x 900 copies = $2,700 which equals our illustrator and set up costs which is the same as what we need to break even. A break even point is when all of the expenses are paid for.)
100 can then be donated to various schools, charities, and organizations, to spread our mission!
