Time to Move
The cozy little place we started our family in, started to feel a little too small as our kids turned 8 and 10.
Their toys got bigger and more plentiful, their bodies needed more room to move, and their shared little bedroom of things began to overflow into our bedroom and living room while our kitchen cabinets busted at the seams with canned goods lining the hallway.
It was time to move.
The original plan was to move 10 years after we began our family here and it was right on the mark. But before moving, I had to take a moment to acknowledge this place. This photo is taken in the center of our house where I could stand and see all rooms and hear everyone at once. Where the kids grew up really close whispering to each other before bed. Where they learned to walk the hallways and use the bathroom and brush their own teeth.
So many sweet memories filled this space and made it feel like home.
And now it’s time to move.
Is it time for you to move? Maybe move on from a space, a workplace, or even a relationship?
Let’s find peace by piece in knowing that when God says it’s time to move, it may be His time to move. And His timing is perfect.
