Event Booth
This is the what our booth looked like before and after an event.
At a recent event for my business, we were given a 10 x 10 booth space to fill. Everyone else who participated in the event, also had a booth that looked similar to this with white curtains and a small white sign. Of course some booths were larger than others. Some got a corner booth. And some were in a great location.
But everyone’s booths start empty.
It’s therefore, so interesting to see what a business will fill the booth with. What kind of products, packaging, and display they will bring, how are the people who will work it, and even what kind of vibe they will bring to the show. It’s what makes events exciting is seeing what one does with what they’ve got!
This empty booth space reminded me of how God gives all of us a blank slate when we come into this life. Of course some are born into larger homes. Some are given different skills and resources. And some are born in ideal locations around the world. But everyone’s lives start with minds and hearts ready to soak in whatever experiences and people came into our lives and everyone eventually leaves taking nothing with them.
I saw a lot of beautiful booths at a recent event. Some amazing products. And met quite a few incredible people! I even felt a vibe from some that just lured you in or made you want to stay.
I hope that’s the vibe we gave in our own booth on a mission of “Bringing peace to our world, one chocolate at a time.” Before we filled this space, I prayed, Holy Spirit fill it. Be here and let your love, joy, and peace overflow from this space throughout the center, and into the lives of everyone who comes in and experiences what we share.
We came in and saw this booth empty and filled it. And as we cleaned up and emptied it again and I looked at it one more time, it was as if God was saying, thank you for inviting me not only to the event, but to be a part of your booth too. HE’s the reason why it was such a sweet show!
With the space God has given you, what will you fill it with?
Let’s find peace by piece, planning, preparing, praying, and inviting the power of the Holy Spirit into our events, into our booths, and into our lives.
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” -Romans 15:13
