Time To Grow and Expand

It is time.

An opportunity to move into a second space for our business suddenly and unexpectedly came up. I was both sad to see my neighbor go, but excited for a chance to grow. I was both scared to take on the risk and full of faith to trust God for what to do and when. So I prayed, and prayed, and prayed and waited on the Lord.

He said the time is now. To “take the upper room.”

And though I was very hesitant with the additional financial burden, the work that lay ahead to build it out, and the plans of what to do with the space, after a lot of back and forth wresting with fear and faith, doubt and determination, we decided to keep taking one step forward. And along the way, His peace remained with me.

Once we said “Let’s grow” and began the work step by step, I continued to feel His peace and confirmation. It appeared in random ways like they usually do. Things became available. People were willing to help. Furniture matched and just fit! (I always took his grace in the measurement of things as His way of saying, “I am with you” since I tend to screw up measurements!) God is good.

It is another crazy story. Another testimony that I will share. And if you want to hear more about how this next chapter began, come to one of the chocolate talks I will have in this space coming soon! Make sure you are signed up for our emails.

For now, got to get back to work, but wanted to encourage you, that God is with you at work. “For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you a hope and a future.” -Jeremiah 29:11

Here is to the future and the hope that has been ignited in my heart for this next chapter as we expand Choco le`a and grow.

finding peace by piece

When making big decisions like this, it takes time, a lot of prayer and continuous reading in the Word. But somehow, God is always speaking to us if we just listen and rely on Him for the answer. He gave me the peace to move forward and He can give you his guidance on what to do too.
