Starting a Business (part 2)

Business or No Business?
If you think you need to start a business to have platform or to get a point across, I don’t believe you do. But if you want to start a business, here are a few next steps for now…

Step #2: A name
Pick a name. I was stuck on this step for a really looooooooong time. I’ve drawn out possible logos or designs to help me get inspired for a name. I googled what else popped up when I put in possible names. I looked up all the words that start with the letter “___” or “___” for inspiration. And I searched domain names to see what’s even available for ideas for a possible name. I could write a lot more about this here, but you get the idea. Come up with a name that you can heavily invest in and live with.

Step #3: Build a website
I registered and reserved a domain when I found it available. I think it ranged from $50 - $150 per year. It’s the start of your investment, but you want to lock in your domain. That’s something I learned the hard way so purchased a domain I wanted to hold a few years ago.

Ok short and sweet and that’s it for now. This will probably keep you busy for a bit. :p Good luck!
