Taking Care Of Your Hair
I’m taking selfies in my car of my freshly cut and permed hair all to quickly just say, take care of your hair. :)
And if you prefer LOW maintenance like me, it’s why I got a perm!
Yes, you heard that right. I don’t like to style my hair or do anything. It brings me no joy (just stress) if I have to curl my hair. In fact, I never really got the hang of using a curling iron, but I love the look so started perming my hair a few years ago to get that look!
I just like to take a quick rinse off in the morning after a quick work out and go! The digital perm from Finca in Manoa, right down the road from my work at Choco le`a, does the trick for me. It dries into what looks like a nice little wave, but I did absolutely nothing.
I just sit in a chair for a couple of hours every few months and while Kazuya or Ryota work their magic, I work or read or get other things done so I don’t miss a beat. They trim off the dead ends of the previously colored hair from years ago. I stopped coloring a while back to enjoy the real me, the black that I always tried to hide, before the gray comes! I am embracing the black because a few of those white hairs are starting to pop up and make their way in!
Thought I’d share because people compliment my hair and wonder when I have time to make it? I don’t. This is how I care my for my hair and you can too!
finding peace by piece:
Do what works for you and your hair and your schedule and love what God has given you. The best way to care, is to not compare.
