Gift Cards For Christmas

I’m always curious to know what everyone’s favorite gifts received are.

And although there are truly the best gifts like my grandma would say, “Every day I wake up and am alive” or my daughter would say, “A happy family,” it’s still fun to know the physical stuff that was their favorites.

For us, we love practical stuff and gift cards! Yup…you think gift cards are unoriginal, but a little card that gives you the opportunity to treat yourself or your family anytime in the year when needed, is so much fun!

Gift cards are easy to keep, easy to ship, doesn’t expire, and it makes you leave the house to go on an adventure or have a new experience together. Here are some ideas for you:

Last year, we received some pretty cool gift cards for the kids like an annual pass to the Waikiki Aquarium and zoo. We made good use of that year-round fun that didn’t hurt our wallet.

We were also gifted new experiences like a gift card to Kid City, Fun Factory, and Tilt. This year, will be going to Kualoa Ranch to UTV and our favorite, horse back riding! (FYI Gunstock Ranch has a Black Friday special now with 20% off gift cards!)

Even gift cards to a store is fun because it’s interesting to watch kids make decisions and what they will pick as they assess what they can purchase.

Fun ideas for adults are gift cards to spas or even an excuse to do something fun like a museum pass or a gift card to Dave & Busters to play games.

We also love getting gift cards to new restaurants we haven’t tried yet or places with easy take out. Or even Bitesquad credit for the really busy, tired, or lazy days when you crave food just arriving at your doorstop!

And of course, a gift card to the chocolate shop is always sweet! ;)

Don’t want to think? Just get a gift card. It’s a gift that’s not just a card. It could unlock a new opportunity or shared experience together!
