2025 Word of the Year - ONE

Hey there!

After my last blog post in August about my new children’s book out, then hiring and training for the holidays, things got quite busy and so I didn’t post until now, the last day of 2025.

Taking a moment to look back on the past year, I am so grateful that it was ONE of the most cohesive cultures, with a team that all worked hard, cared, and helped each other. We took care of hard things that came up ONE after another, by working through it ONE at a time.

My boss, aka God, gives me a word for each year to set the tone or to help me focus throughout the year. In 2025, it was the word, “ONE.” To focus on our ONE God, working as ONE team, taking care of things ONE at a time, and bringing peace to our world, ONE chocolate at a time.”

2025 felt like ONE year to be proud of because even though there was a lot of transitions, change, crazy costs increases, and financial challenges, we did grow stronger and get better together.

Taking some time not only at the end of the year, but at the end of month, or at the end of anything, really helps me to slow down, reflect, learn from mistakes, take corrective action, make better plans, and pray that God guides me in the right direction. And sometimes, it also allows for the little celebration in our hearts that we did it! And truly with God, all things are possible!
