Holo Holo to Megabon Hawai`i

This year our family attended our first Megabon and it lived up to its name! This was a mega event!

The Megabon is put on by Hawai`i Todaiji and JCI Honolulu. Our friends and I parked and caught the rail to Leeward Community College. We dropped off the girls who volunteered with JASH (Japan American Society of Hawai`i) and Bridge Club Hawai`i while the boys played the games, checked out the rummage sale, ate food, and then we picked up the girls to shop before hopping back on the rail to our car.

Now that I know what to expect, I plan to bring a mega group of friends with us next year in hopes that they’ll join me for some dancing since that’s what I missed out on!

There was a lot to see and do at this event, so plan to arrive early and stay several hours.
