Botanical Gardens

We finally went to all of the FREE botanical gardens in Hawai`i in the past year since the pandemic. We’re constantly looking for fun and safe things outdoors for the kids to do! Here they are:

Koko Head Botanical Garden (pictured here) - Easy dirt trail to walk around. My advice, go on a windy day when it’s not hot!

Wahiawa Botanical Garden - Small, but well kept. Plan for a picnie or this is a good one to let the little kids run around.

Ho`omaluhia Botanical Garden - A very short trail of plants, but then it spreads out to a beautiful and wide open area with fish and duck to feed. Perfect for picnics and running!

Honolulu Botanical Garden - Conveniently located near downtown, this is a perfect quick escape from city life!
