Coral Crater Adventure Park
We’ve been talking about doing a ropes/obstacle course team bonding for years and we finally did it when we found this one on Oahu!
Just outside of Kapolei we found Coral Crater Adventure Park. This business offers zip-lining, ATV/off-road tours, rock climbing, night events, and what we wanted, a an aerial adventure course!
We found their Aerial Adventure Tower online and booked it last year to have something to look forward to after the busy holidays and something to start off the year with a fun team bonding experience. It was very easy to find in Kapolei, lots of free parking, and we were greeted by a super friendly team member (Kehau) in a cute little gift/snack shop!
The property was small, simple, but clean, nice bathrooms, some animals, games, a spot for a luau, and quick walk to our tower where we got harnessed up, went over rules, and practiced using the safety clips by our very awesome and encouraging guide, Kylie!
Then we were off! A quick one hour to circle around two levels of the tower, step out of our comfort zone, and try something new together!
For Tori, it was a giant playground to get on. For me, it was a test of my mental strength to face my fears because I was legit scared. I know because I started praying out loud, my hands got all sweaty (which they never do) and I started reciting scripture.
It was pretty interesting to see how we all approached this activity differently which was similar to our approach in work. One person stood and wanted to watch first and make a decision later based on what they saw. One person wanted to see the whole course, plan it out, and find out what the end goal time was. One person wanted to look at one obstacle at a time and figure it out as they went. And for me, well I literally couldn’t look down so walked without looking where I was going and repeated “Walk by faith, not by sight” over and over again.
This was a really great bonding experience as we all cheered each other on, laughed, and felt good supporting another business while getting a morning workout!
Everything their team emails you, explains to you, and even answers on “live chat” with you on their website are extremely helpful. In addition, we suggest bringing tip money and of course we brought a little chocolates to leave behind. #chocolatetrails
Check them out for an adventure! We did the one hour Ariel Adventure Course for our first time and loved it!

I suggest this for a team or family bonding activity. And after, you can grab something to eat in Kapolei. Right now, the tourists have gone home and it’s their slow season, so the kama`aina deals get really good! Look or ask!
