If you’re looking for ideas on where to go and what to eat in Maui, this is it!

We went on a jam packed, but also very enjoyable and fun 2 night, 3 day trip to Maui in the summer of 2022 as a family and it was wonderful!!! Especially with a 5 and 7 year old who have never been to outer islands, this trip was planned around them.

Here’s a list summarizing what we did and will share more in-depth info of our favorites in upcoming blogs. Hope sharing this itinerary will help you plan a quick getaway with peace and no stress!

If you love shared itineraries like this, let me know by commenting below. I still have to plan a trip for my kids to Big Island and Kauai one day! Hoping that can happen in 2023!

erin’s tips

  • Plan ahead. Make sure you know business days and hours since not everything was fully opened still post covid.

  • Get a good rental vehicle if you plan to do lots of driving.

  • Have fun and go with the flow. Change as needed to keep the family happy and give them the rest they need too!
