1908 Lisboa Hotel

The hotel that we spent the majority of our time in in Portugal, was at the 1908 Lisboa Hotel in Lisbon.

My friend found this charming little hotel, absolutely adorable from the outside, with all of the basic necessities inside. I got a small single room and it was cozy, but had the things I needed: Water, Wifi, an espresso machine, a desk, and most importantly, a comfortable bed.

It also had a very good restaurant, Infame, at the bottom and a convenient breakfast buffet included daily. That was definitely a plus that I appreciated whiel on the trip.

This hotel is conveniently located walking distance from the major squares, but not in the center of the action so was a little more affordable, but still easily accessible with Uber.

Not going to lie, the area surrounding the hotel long ago was the where all the action was, but has since gotten a little more run down. My view out my window wasn’t the best on the side of the hotel I was on, but the other side was just fine. What I did love, was the long curtains and doors that opened wide letting a lot of the cool air and natural light in.

finding peace by piece

Although I was content with the hotel that had what we needed, I would also check the surrounding area to see if you’re close to the restaurants and attractions you’re interested in. It was good hotel for the group I was with and our agenda, but next time, I think I’d like to get closer to the main squares or head out to the country for a more relaxing vibe.
