Our entire family loves Japanese food so one of our default spots for a special dinner is Rinka restaurant!

We love the quality of the food and always receive the best service from when it was in its OG spot by Ala Moana. My friend, Joy, introduced me to this place and it’s where I fell in love with salmon chazuke and never looked back. Salmon chazuke is now something I make at home regularly and look for on the menu anywhere I go.

It’s new location in Ward behind the theaters and in the same building as Whole Foods, feels clean, spacious, and kid-friendly and the food and service continues to stand the test of time. :)

What we like:

• Sashimi (we always get Tuna and Salmon Roe for Conner)

• Lightly Grilled Stingray Fin (Kids love this and call this the stingray restaurant)

• Tiny Sardine & Tofu Salad

• Roast Beef Salad Japanese Style

• Grilled Beef Tongue

• Grilled Horse Mackerel

• Homemade Cold Soba

• Salmon & Inure Chazuke

• Mochi with Green Tea Ice Cream

And there’s honestly soooooo much more to try! Easy parking in the Whole Foods building and private party rooms available too!
