MW Restaurant

I think everyone in Hawai`i has heard of MW Restaurant.

For me personally, as soon as I saw their logo years ago of three-pronged forks and knew it stood for the “M” in Michelle and “W” in Wade (wife and husband chef team), I instantly looked up to these guys! They had vision! They were creative! They had an eye for aesthetics. And a crazy work ethic. I was a fan, but when I had their food, I understood why they were so well loved by all of Hawai`i.

I finally got to visit their new location and take a long overdue break with Tori, my right hand and Production Manager at Choco le`a. We’ve been wanting to go and try their Sunday tea that became very popular and available only once a month.

If you love little portions, but want to try EVERYTHING, you must try their Sunday tea experience! I ate EVERYTHING!

Below is a breakdown of the photos of the savory and sweets included plus a choice of tea ($59 per person) plus the add-ons we did like their poke nachos (probably my favorite anywhere) and scallops and uni orzo pasta!

And even if you can’t book the tea, if you plan to see any of the upcoming shows at the Blaisdell or want to look at luxury cars at Velocity, make this a resting point for refreshment before or after! You won’t regret it.

Bravo Chef Michelle, Chef Wade (Chef Jason…a friend:) and the team! And thank you Tyler for the excellent service as well! We will be back! #perfection

erin’s tip

Book in advance. They are popular, but so worth it! If you can, pre-pay and book their Sunday tea experience on November 27th!

Chef Jason’s black cat inspired by Tori at includes all of her favorite flavors!
