The Word for the Year

Holy moly 2025 is here! What’s the ONE thing you’re going to focus on this year to make this world a better place? What’s the ONE relationship you want to work on that matters most? What’s the ONE desire in your heart you are going to persevere and continue to pray and seek God for? Whatever it is, remember there’s only ONE YOU!

“ONE” is my word for the year.

Every year, I pray daily asking God what my “word” of the year should be to help me focus on His plan. In 2024, it was “grow” which is I why I spent so much of my energy and time focusing on growing the business, my team, myself, my kids, and the people around me. And we did it! We did just about all that I set out to do in 2024.

But as the year came to a close and I did my year-end review, I knew God was drawing me back saying “simple is best.” Not that I had to let go everything we’ve built, but to let some of it go and let others have their chance to really “grow.” (This is why I’m hiring a manager!) It would also allow me to focus and do ONE thing at a time even better.
