Holiday Window Shopping

I saw this window and it made me smile. Did it make you smile too?

I love wood, lights, dishes, deocor. I love all things Christmas. I love Anthropologie. And I love window shopping.

It’s the holiday shopping season and seeing this one window lured me in for a detour to remind me that my favorite time of the year is among us and I need to make sure I don’t miss all of the sights, sounds, and smells I’ve waited a whole year for. I love Christmas and it’s one thing I have unwavering confidence in.

Isn’t it nice to be so confident about something? Even if the confidence is in how much you love a store, an activity, or a season? Doubt can so easily creep into our lives, our thoughts, and even challenge our own self-worth. We have seen how stores can come and go, window displays often change, and seasons change, but we can be confident that our God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

What are you excited about this holiday season? What lights you up with confidence?

Let’s find peace by piece in enjoying those things, being with those people, or being confident in simply knowing what brings a smile to your face…even if it’s just holiday window shopping.

“I am glad I can have complete confidence in you.” -2 Corinthians 7:16
