What We Bought In Japan
So this past particular family trip, wasn’t really one of shopping, but be we did buy a lot of snacks and sweets to eat. :p Other than that, the majority of the things we purchased were gatcha gatcha (or toys from those cranking coin machines that are everywhere) and stuffed animals for the kids! :p
We did buy a lot of little cookies, candy, and goodies to share with the kids’ friends, teachers, neighbors, the team, etc, but I have to share my two personal favorites I found from the dollar store! These two items were under $1 each (the pink bag was about $0.25) and they are the most buttery delicious little cracker cookies that I can’t stop eating! The animal one I sometimes can find here in Hawai`i at Times, but something about eating it there it tasted just so much more decadent and fresh!
For myself and a friend, I bought a few of these fabric coin purses and eyeglass case because I’m such a sucker for cute little bags or anything handmade and sold by nice people in little shops!
I'd love to go back because I didn’t visit my favorite stores that I highly recommend such as Loft, Tokyo Hands, Yodobashi Camera, and department stores like Takashimaya. Plus, the yen to the dollar is so good, now is the time for us to go to them!

Bring back omiyage for family and friends who may never have an opportunity to visit Japan. They will be super grateful to try their snacks and appreciate their craftsmanship.
