3 Things I Bought That I LOVE
I don’t know why, but on my walk this morning, I started to think about my favorite things that I have purchased in the past 6 months that have benefited me the most so that I could share them in hopes they benefit you! In no particular order:
Yeti Chug Cap - I drink my Yeti giant water bottle multiple times a day and take it with me everywhere. And with coronavirus, I started thinking I should have a cap that doesn’t expose the flip up straw thing that I had. My friend, Ally, suggested to me the chug cap that takes just 2 twists to take off rather than the other cap I had that takes maybe 6 twists to take off (hey…every twist counts when you’re chugging multiple times a day)! I absolutely love my new cap! I got mine from Surf Camp in Kahala Mall.
Airpods - I’ve been on Zoom meetings and working remotely more than ever before and one problem I’d always have is I’d get tangled in the chords for my headphones! This happened especially when I was in a meeting then heard a kid yell for me that they needed help from the other room and I tried to move out quick to get to them and get back, but would get tangled in the chords and fumble in front of the camera. I’d ungracefully exit the meeting and also ungracefully return to my screen trying to untangle and rejoin the conversation. This has been the simplest thing to pop in my ear and not mess with any other mess. You can get these from any Apple store or online.
Fake Tree - My black thumb finally gave up! For the first time in the lock down, I actually kept real plants and succulents alive, but since things have opened back up again, I have failed my plants again. So, per the constant advice of my friend, Tanna, I finally got a fake tree from Target for my living room and I just love it! It brings something else to the space. Sort of calming as it blows in the wind when it comes through the windows and it looks real. The kids love it too and have put their toys all in the “soil” and in the branches! Low maintenance and still beautiful!
