Small Businesses Need To “Dance” To The Music
“The only constant, is change.”-Heraclitus
Seasons change, people change, and we can plan as best as we can for it, but we also have to be flexible to changes.
I'm a dancer so as it relates to music, when you're dancing and the genre or tempo of the music changes, your rhythm and movements must too. You have to go with the flow of the "remix" and "freestyle!"
That's what happens behind the scenes in a small local business...even a little chocolate shop like us. We know things don't always go according to what we hope or plan, and we don't know when a change may throw us off. We also can’t master all styles of dance, but we can certainly try and change our way of moving to match the beat that starts playing!
So what do you say? If the music has changed in your work or business, don’t stop, just change the way you’re moving!
Shall we dance?
“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to plant and a time to uproot, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance…” -Ecclisastes 3:3-4
