Echelon Board
Are you a young professional looking for a non-profit board to join so you can use your God-given gifts to serve others?
As a founding board member of Echelon celebrating 10 years this year, and member of the Salvation Army Honolulu Advisory Board I want to take you to a recent Echelon event! Check out the video below!
Echelon is a community of diverse young leaders, collectively rising up to serve The Salvation Army and their communities.
They recently had a “Sip, Savor, & Serve” private event at Uncle Paul’s Corner Store in Mānoa with custom created mocktails by Lady Elaine to pair specifically with our Choco le`a chocolate truffles and boy did they do an incredible job! They also had non-alcoholic wine and beer, and delicious food served up by Little Plum.
It was a fun-filled night of authentic connections, conversations, to learn more about the organization, the great work Echelon does, and how you can get involved and serve starting with making a bookmark for the students they serve year after year through their flagship Red Pencil Project.
Thank you to Echelon co-chairs Tati and Lisa and the entire staff, board, members, volunteers, and donors who continuously show up to do the most good. If you want to get more information, visit salvationarmyechelon.org or follow them on IG @echelonhi
Finding peace by piece:
There’s a sort of peace that is felt when serving others and being a part of any amazing group like Echelon, may be the missing piece in your life.
"Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others." -Philippians 2:3-4
