Waiting for the Soft Cream Swirl

Sometimes things break down and sooner than you expect. You can’t find anyone to fix your problem. You spend your savings so you can try and start again. You have to wait. You’re not even sure how things will go and need to try it out. You learn some things are different and have to make changes. And then…. you have your soft cream! 

This was the experience we had when our soft cream machine unexpectedly went down right before summer and that’s how life is at times too! 

Sometimes the best thing you can do at the end of a challenging season, is to get yourself a swirl and rejoice and be glad in this exact moment in time when things finally feel sweet again. That’s why they call the present, a present. It’s a gift to be in the moment, so don’t miss it after all of the other moments you poured into it to get to here!
