Waimanalo Plant Nurseries

If you love fruit trees, plants, or gardening, this one is for you!

January is my husband’s birthday month and you know what he wanted for his birthday? Fruit trees! If he’s not hunting fish, bird, or some kind of animal, he’s hunting down the most unusual fruits or new veggies to try in our little garden.

So when he said he wanted fruit trees, I had to find him some land, aka other people’s yards who would let him plant his trees in. ;P

Then we took a trip out to beautiful Waimanalo to shop at a couple of the plant nurseries and just had to share.

We went to Sharon’s Plants which I didn’t realize was a supplier to Home Depot and many of the other big stores where you can conveniently get beautiful plants from!

It was against the side of the beautiful Waimanalo mountains and we received excellent service. My hubby was very happy to support this farm with just a few hard working folks keeping up Sharon’s legacy.

We also went to Frankie’s Nursery where we picked up a few more trees and fresh cut fruits and fresh juice for me and the kids as a treat. It was fun to try different things like jackfruit and their honey cream pineapple juice was sooooooo delicious!

There are many other stops on this side of the island that we didn’t get to this time, but will definitely go back. There’s something so peaceful and refreshing about Waimanalo.

finding peace by piece:

Hunt for the interesting and unique things you’ve never experienced before and try it. Though you may not like it or it’s not your thing, you’ll find peace in knowing that you tried something, that someone you loves, enjoys!
