Outrigger Waikiki Beachcomber & Aloha Aroma Cafe

I LOVE what most would call staycations, but for me they are more of 24 hours of uninterrupted work, time with my thoughts and pen to paper to let ideas flow, and extended quality devotional time and prayer. I guess I will start calling it my “Hotel Haven”

I am in love with particular hotels for sure, but this year, I wanted to be a little more adventurous and try and venture out to explore new spots in addition to returning to some tried and true ones.

So first up for 2022 was the Outrigger Waikiki Beachcomber.

How I do my search is always based on the rates and the desk and chair in the room.

When I looked up this hotel, I was attracted by their renovations done a few years ago with a wave backdrop in the room, pop of orange chair on a clear large table, and some sea glass ball lamps. For me, it’s all about the room and the experience since I basically lock myself up for hours in my hotel haven.

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel and was happy with the renovations they did a few years ago. Modern, clean, small, simple, and fun!

Service was quick and friendly.

And it is SUPER conveniently located in the middle of Kalakaua. Like Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center directly across and International Marketplace just next door. But within the same building as Maui Brewing Company and where I went for food, Aloha Aroma Cafe.

I was actually very happy with the food, drinks, and service at Aloha Aroma Cafe. They had everything going on. Smiles, sights, sounds of music setting the tone, the smell of bacon, waffles, and coffee, it was the perfect “aloha aroma.” It set my mind racing with ideas and visions as we are planning to renovate our own shop this year. Perfect timing.

Very nice. I’d come here again. :)
