North Bend River Air B&B

Not gonna lie. After Ashley’s perfect air b&b house last year, we had our hesitations if anything could measure up.

To not compare, we decided to let our gut lead us as to what was needed most this time.

And the answer was - nature.

Driving off the paved road, with minimal other homes in view, without the noise of cars driving or even other people talking, the deep desire for nature led us riverside. Snoqualmie river to be exact in North Bend, Washington.

This North Bend River House that sat right on that river, delivered.

It was the perfect simple, cozy, and cabin vibes we were hoping for with most of our time on this trip, spent outside rather than inside. And if we were inside, the windows were cracked open to let the cold air in, the sound of the rushing river be our white noise, and we the little fire burning to make the temperature and vibe just so.

It was magical.

Cozy.

Not over the top.

Just right.

Our hostess, Meghan, was wonderful. And even though we had some WiFi issues and she offered to come over right away and check it out, we told her we were fine because honestly, the unplug was a little nice too.

This was my favorite outdoor space at an air b&b!

With a river that started high and rushing with the rain then slowly retreating day after day, it was a perfect experience. There was also a famous and most beautiful hike just one block over that we could walk to with different views of the river, a cute little town with a coffee shop, gift shop, and church all walking distance from each other and in another area, a large market and outlet shopping if you needed to feel a little more city life.

But really, we mostly wanted to stay at the River House, outside on the bench among the trees or in the jacuzzi, with the cafe lights above and letting nature just be our backdrop, it was all we had hoped it would be!

I highly recommend the SouthFork Serenity River Cabin in North Bend for anyone looking for a little relaxation in the great outdoors!
