Gunstock Ranch - Horseback For Kids

If you’re looking for a place for kids to ride horses, not ponies, but horses, I highly recommend it here! My daughter and her friend absolutely LOVED it! Just check out the photos below!

What you need to know:

• 30 minute ride + horse feeding

• Must be 7 years-old

• $50 per kid

• Adults can walk alongside and take photos! :)

• There is a clean bathroom!

• Must complete waiver form (you can do this online prior)

• Lots of free parking

• Other things to do on property: Mini petting zoo and goat feed ($1 per bag), tire swing, and…? Plus there are other bookings for adults (see blog on the sweetheart ride we did) and horsemanship experience! I have to try that one next!

Erin’s Experience Tips:

• Kids should wear sunscreen, pants, shoes, and hair for a helmet.

• Adults walking - Bring your camera and wear sunglasses to protect eyes from horses kicking up dust and shoes in case you accidentally step in poop!

• Bring cash to tip your wrangler and buy goat feed!
