Home Favorites

Keeping your home clutter free and simplified so you don’t get overwhelmed looking at the space that is supposed to be your sanctuary is easier said than done. I’m still working on it, but I have mastered putting a few of my favorite things around the house so when I look at them, it makes me smile. This includes:

• Plants

• Baskets

• Framed art, photos, & scripture

• Mirrors

• Books

• Candles

• Plantation shutters (this could be a whole blog on it’s own how this was the big investment I made in our house…which is why all the windows still don’t have covers because we couldn’t afford covering them all at the time, :p but it is absolutely my favorite thing about our house and it transforms and elevates the entire look. We may not be able to make our house look like the barn house style mansions I see in the south that show up on my IG feed, but we can get a couple of those “Magnolia Home” items and spread them out here and there and be content with a few of our favorites to make our house, feel like OUR home.
