Chip lovers listen up!

If you live in Hawai`i, you know about this place and you’re already smiling. And if you are from Cali or the West Coast, you’ve probably visited before! And if you love chips, well this is the only place I know of where you can get fresh chips, hot off of the line (kind of like getting that glazed donut off the Krispy Kreme conveyor belt!)

This operation is run by owner, Jimmy Chan, and his story is pretty incredible. I’ve had the privilege of sitting with him in his office years ago when I first got started and he shared how he went from peeling sweet potatoes with his buddies in college to a recent tour of their full operation on Nimitz Highway including a recent purchase of Menehune Mac chocolates.

This guys knows how to work hard and grow a businesss! But more than that, he’s passionate about helping other small local businesses and is an advocate as the President of the Hawai`i Food Manufacturers Association (HFMA).

And his chips, are gooooooood!

I love his Kettle potato chips, but his taro chips hot off of the line, are amazing! Crispy, hot, and you can select your seasoning (salt, garlic powder, etc, etc, etc….those are just my faves)! It’s like customizing your chips! And in their shop they offer other fun products like chocolate macadamia nut clusters, party mix, gift sets to ship, and cute totes to put them all in. Plus if you see Susan, Neal, or any of their other friendly team members there, they will always make you smile and laugh!

Ok so I really want him to open a sandwich shop in one of the bright buildings he owns next door with a side of lemonade and a bench, but at least for now, you can pick up and go easily because he has a HUGE parking lot!
