Mamaya Bento

For the boy’s birthday party, I knew I wanted to go simple with bento’s to go!

Six-year old boys rather play in their 2 short hours of the room rental than eat and because there wasn’t a lot of space in the Funtastic Kidzone party room, making the food to go meant we could maximize our time and keep the set up and clean up, a piece of cake!

Mamaya Bento in Pearl Kai across the street from our birthday party location at Pearlridge was convenient for that day. For just about $10 a plate, we chose the Salmon Nori and Terriyaki Chicken pack sets for each kid/adult set. They provided chopsticks, napkins, and bottled water too! (Only thing I forgot to think about was forks for 6 year olds so told the boys to practice learning to eat with chopsticks!) :P

Calling ahead to order and pick up was easy so I’d recommend them for simple party bentos! They also have locations in downtown and Kapolei!

Our goal for the party was to have fun and keep it simple and stress free. That meant bentos was my go-to as opposed to catering food and making plates and taking home leftovers.
