Legos

The power of Legos to keep your kid busy!

I played with Legos when I was a kid and the stuff they keep coming out with is so innovative! Although I love me a plain green square and some pieces to build from scratch, my kids love the sets that they can follow step by step to create something “all on their own.”

And sometimes, you need quiet in the house. You need them to keep themselves busy for a good hour while you try and get some work done.

And that’s when Legos can come into play! When we get these as gifts, I actually save them on a high shelf and bring them down for these days when I need them to concentrate and build quietly as I concentrate and try to work from home.

And that smile, when they are done! That sense of accomplishment and joy on their face will probably make you smile more than the time you just got.

erin’s tip

Keep some Legos in the house. Buy the age recommended kits and keep them handy + a big old plain square and pieces to get creative!
